You will need several days to see Athens. The archaeological sites never end and the modern city has many surprises. Plaka is an oldest district in Athens. Walking through the narrow streets, you encounter ancient monuments, Byzantine churches and remnants of the Ottoman buildings such as mosques and Turkish baths. There are also some interesting museums, lots of tavernas, cafés, bars and shops selling souvenirs and traditional Greek products.
